AUTUMN LEAVES - POSTMARK
HERO ARTS - WISH YOU WERE HERE
TPC STUDIO - TRAVEL WORLD
TATTERED ANGELS - BLOSSOM TREES
SANDYLION (KELLY PANACCI) - TIME FLIES

We also used glue for wood and metals and elmer's wood glue to hold the stickers better.  We also used Mod Podge Gloss Lustre to give it a high shine and to prevent the stickers from falling off and to keep the stamped images from fading.  This was the first time for taking this project on.  We tried to make it look old and rustic.  Definitely will try more of these wood projects.  all of the hardware is from the Tim Holtz line.  We first sanded the magazine holder's.  Then we stained the and placed on two coats.  We then stamped all of the images and used a fixative to seal it.  In each step we let it sit a day to ensure all the material was set.  We then added the stickers with a little help of some spray glue to hold in place.  We then added the Mod Podge to seal and give it some shine.  We did two coats of the Mod Podge.  The last step was adding the hardware which gave it a antique look.  Hopefully our Dads' will like these gifts.

Fantabulous Challenge Me Monday #62

This is the Fantabulous Challenge Me Monday #62 ( Remember This Challenge #62 ).  In this challenge you had to create a Remember This .  You had to make something to remember a special person, time or anniversary.  The card measures 5.5x6.5 and I used the cricut cartridge "3 Birds on Parade" and cut everything at 4.5.  The paper used was papertrey ink ripe avocado and Basic grey 6x6 Matifica paper pad and brazzil chocolate and beige.

Glitter Glue Dots -- Oh My!!!

Glitter Glue Dot Technique I used Stampin Up paper mellow moss Michaels Recollections stamps  VersaMark watermark stamp pad Michaels Recollection extra fine glitter - Apricot 3 different paper tapes (can not remember by who) I saw a video where the lady laid out glue dots and used embossing powder and heat set it.  So I decided to use glitter and use the small glue dots and it came out pretty cool.  I may try this on a larger area or even try the embossing technique.  My goal is to try more techniques that I find in magazines as well as enter more blog competions.
